LISBON Nike Air VaporMax Plus Orange White Women's , March 17 (Xinhua) -- Portugal will be unable to bring down its deficit target to below 3 percent of Gross Domestic Product (GDP), the International Monetary Fund (IMF) said in a statement released on Tuesday.
The IMF said that Portugal's public deficit will reach 3.2 percent of GDP this year, though it revised its growth forecast upward from 1.2 percent to 1.5 percent.
The IMF mission chief Subir Lall also stressed the need for the country to implement "a deep reform of the state," in order to "improve the functioning of the public administration."
The IMF representatives arrived in Lisbon on March 5 to carry out its annual assessment of the Portuguese economy and on Tuesday released its preliminary conclusions.
The Portuguese government has insisted that the country can reach its deficit target of below 3 percent this year, with Prime Minister Pedro Passos Coelho insisting that the country must not slow down its pace of reforms.
Portugal signed a 78-billion-euro bailout fund in May 2011 with the European Commission Nike Air VaporMax Plus Women's Light Menta White Blue , the International Monetary Fund and the European Central Bank when it was on the verge of bankruptcy. Portugal exited its bailout program in May last year.
The IMF lent Portugal 26.9 billion euros, which carried a 3.7 percent tax rate and an average loan maturity of 7 years. The Portuguese government recently revealed it is planning to pay its 14- billion-euro IMF debt early to take advantage of low borrowing costs for European peripheral governments.

STACY Lewis picked the right time to break out of a slump and the end of her winless drought will bring a windfall to the flood victims in her hometown of Houston.
The American golfing star had promised earlier in the week to donate her prize money to the Hurricane Harvey relief effort.
Lewis earned her first LPGA Tour title in three years on Sunday at the LPGA Cambia Portland Classic, firing a closing round of 3-under-par 69 to defeat Chun In-gee by one stroke.
Lewis did it by playing steady golf down the stretch. She posted four birdies Nike Air VaporMax Plus Women's Reverse Sunset Barely Grey , two pars and a bogey over her first seven holes but then parred the final 11 holes to finish with a 20-under 268 total.

It comes following the recent deaths of two men aged 22 and 37,and a 26-year-old woman, all from West Auckland who died inseparate incidents and where the coroner is investigating whethersynthetic drugs were a possible cause of death Nike Air VaporMax Womens , according to apolice statement.
"This is not just a problem in Auckland, this is affectingfamilies and whanau (communities) across New Zealand," thestatement said.
Detective Inspector Scott Beard is calling on the community totell police who is selling and manufacturing these drugs.

It is a dangerous drug that we know is a syntheticcompound usually manufactured overseas," Beard said in thestatement, adding that those taking it are taking a huge riskbecause "you do not know where it has come from Nike Air VaporMax Mens , or the level ofdosage."
Chief Coroner Judge Deborah Marshall said that there had been anumber of deaths potentially related to the use of synthetic drugssince a public warning was issued in July.

DENVER (Reuters) - A Denver police officer critically injured when he was struck by a motorist last year during a demonstration over the shooting of an unarmed black teenager in Missouri was released from a hospital on Wednesday.
John Adsit, 43 Nike Air VaporMax Utility Womens , suffered a severed artery, numerous broken bones, and had his spleen removed after the December incident.
Adsit and three other bicycle officers were hit by a sport utility vehicle as they conducted traffic and crowd control at the march by hundreds of Denver high school students. Adsit was the only officer seriously injured.
The students were protesting the decision by a grand jury not to indict white police officer Darren Wilson in the fatal shooting of Michael Brown in the St. Louis suburb of Ferguson.
