In the 47-3 win over the Buffalo Bills Baltimore Ravens T-Shirt , multiple players had standout performances. One player stood above the rest, however. The Ravens most valuable player was none other than quarterback Joe Flacco.  and in Week 1 he certainly delivered.Flacco started the game strong, leading the offense on an 80-yard scoring drive. On the very first play, Flacco hit tight end Nick Boyle for a 25-yard gain. Flacco immediately went back to Boyle for an 11-yard gain and another first down. After a fumbled handoff to Alex Collins and an offensive holding penalty, Baltimore was faced with a 2nd-and-26. Last season, Flacco and the Ravens offense was rarely able to overcome such situations. Flacco did not flinch this time, however, as he rolled out to the right and threw across his body to the opposite side of the field for a 29-yard conversion to wide receiver John Brown. The drive ended with an 8-yard touchdown run from Collins.Flacco threw for three touchdowns on the day, one each to Brown, Michael Crabtree and Willie Snead IV. On the first passing touchdown Baltimore Ravens Hats , Flacco and Brown both displayed good awareness to find the opening between zone coverage in the back of the end zone. Flacco was able to float a perfect pass to the corner of the end zone for Crabtree, who made an impressive catch and toe tap to get both feet in bounds for the score. Snead was next to score on a quick pass between defenders from Flacco. Flacco exuded confidence in his new wide receivers and it payed off with a touchdown for all three.Flacco was able to hit several different targets against the Bills, distributing the ball equally through the air. Crabtree, Snead, Brown, Boyle, Maxx Williams, Mark Andrews, Chris Moore, Collins and Javorius Allen all had catches while Flacco was in the game. Flacco displayed confidence and mobility in the pocket, keeping his eyes downfield while taking the check down when necessary. With three touchdowns and zero interceptions Baltimore Ravens Womens Hoodie , Flacco was in total control of the offense while slicing through Buffalo’s secondary. Lamar Jackson replaced Flacco in the third quarter after the game was put out of reach. Flacco could not have had a much better start to his eleventh season. QUARTERBACKS:START: Cam Newton, Carolina PanthersMatchup: vs. BuccaneersWeek 8 Stats: 219 Passing YDS, 2 Passing TD, 52 Rushing YDS, 1 Rushing TD, 28 PTSCam Newton has been electric this season. The emergence of rookie wideout D.J. Moore and the development of former Michigan standout Devin Funchess, paired with the continued rise of last year’s star rookie Christian McCaffrey, has given Newton the best arsenal he has ever had at his disposal. Look for him to dissect the Tampa Bay defense, which has given up the fourth most QB FPTS since Week 5.Photo by Streeter Lecka/Getty ImagesSIT: Ben Roethlisberger, Pittsburgh SteelersMatchup: @ RavensWeek 8 Stats: 257 Passing YDS, 2 Passing TD Womens Customized Baltimore Ravens Jerseys , INT, 16.9 PTSBig Ben faces his toughest divisional opponent this Sunday in a hotly contested matchup at M&T Bank Stadium against the Ravens. Baltimore is coming off of a heartbreaking defeat to New Orleans and a blowout loss to Carolina. Look for this one to be a slug fest and a rather low scoring affair.Photo by Justin K. He put up his best stat line of 2018 last week against the Giants, and he faces a depleted Falcons defense this weekend that has given up the second most FPTS per game to opposing running backs. Cooper is also coming off of a concussion from Week 6, so this is not the ideal week to slot him into your lineup, even with the large amount of teams on byes this week. He is a high boom or bust option, and I have a gut feeling is it going to be the latter.Kirby Lee-USA TODAY SportsTIGHT ENDS:START: David Njoku, Cleveland BrownsMatchup: vs. ChiefsAfter topping 50 yards in four straight games, Njoku was held without a single target in Week 8 against the Steelers. He was limited last week in practice and that may have contributed to his lesser role. With Hue Jackson no longer in Cleveland, look for Baker Mayfield to excel Baltimore Ravens T-Shirt , which should translate into success for his favorite target.Jonathan Dyer-USA TODAY SportsSIT: Jordan Reed, Washington RedskinsMatchup: vs. FalconsWeek 8 Stats: 7 Receptions, 38 YDS, 10.8 PTSAs much as I love Jordan Reed, you cannot trust him in fantasy football at this current time. The only reliable option in the nation’s capital is the previously mentioned, Adrian Peterson. Reed’s targets are way too inconsistent, and it is almost as if they do not want to prioritize his usage with his vast injury history. Keep him out of your lineups until further notice.Robert Deutsch-USA TODAY SportsThursday Night Football Preview: Oakland Raiders (1-6) vs. San Francisco 49ers (1-7)RaidersDerek Carr: StartJalen Richard: FlexDoug Martin: SitJordy Nelson: StartMartavis Bryant: SitJared Cook: StartRaiders D/ST: Sit49ersC.J.
